Growing up, I had loved to draw but I wasn’t particularly artsy; and in my teenage years, doodling was mainly a source of distraction, something I did a lot in class while my mind wandered. It wasn’t until a few years ago, when I was restoring my health, doodling has become a tool of some sort – it helps sooth my chaotic mind, makes me slow down and focuses on the little things.
While I love doodling with a pen and paper, it was around that time I first tried sketching with an iPad – and I have barely put my iPad down ever sinceย ๐. I used to spend hours on the now defunct Mix, a sharing platform of FiftyThree’s Paper, doodling, remixing and learning. These days, my main obsession are Procreate (+ all the custom brushes), and ever since I got my hand on an iPad Pro back in November, the amazing Autodesk Graphic app.
I am no illustrator/artist, but doodling is fun and sharing is caring, so here’s something I prepared earlier –
(Side note: this is my first ever YouTube video and it took about 30 hours to upload – yes, I can’t live without wifi but sometimes it does get on my nerves a wee bit)
Do you doodle? And what are your favourite ways to express your feelings?
Also, let me know what you think of the video ๐
Sometimes I doodle to help me sleep and sometimes it’s just interesting to see what a page of doodles might turn out like!

That’s the beauty of it! (+ I’m still working on the questions you set! – It’s taking a while but we’ll get there ๐) xx
